Anne's Favorite Things: Post #1--Seed Designs by Diane Schroeder

Good day to you and thank you for checking back for my first "Anne's Favorite Things" post!  I have many companies, websites, gifts, and products that I would like to feature in this weekly post, but I am always open to ideas.  So if you have something that you would like for me to check out, please send me a message along with your email address, and I will respond in kind.

I have been wanting to tell people about seed by Diane for a really long time, and this forum is the perfect opportunity.
I met Diane Schroeder several years ago after visiting with my best friend in New York.  Diane has worked very hard to create her own brand of jewelry and stationary that is truly set apart from anything I've seen before.  Her designs are eclectic and nature-driven, yet uniquely beautiful and elegant.  Diane is a true artist in both mediums, jewelry and stationary.  You can shop directly online, but she also sells her designs at the WAVE galleries in both Newport, RI and New Haven, CT if you happen to be near these areas.

Well, you must know by now that I am a jewelry hound!  I love many of Diane's designs, but here are two of my favorites. I love the fact that Diane uses both found art and genuine pearls to create the sea glass and pearl pendant.

But my absolute favorite piece is the lava and labradorite haiku necklace. . . and, yes, it does come with a haiku poem!
I especially love the lava stones.  They look brown in this picture, but I assure you that they are as black as night and just as alluring.
I have also bought and sent out the Happy Birthday Card to many of my friends and family.  I love the front--it says what I really want to say to you on your special day.

So, please check out seed by Diane.  I am trying to convince her to put some of her pieces down here in Northern Virginia, so you may not have to go far to get your own seed!
Thanks for reading!
Anne ;)
